Job summary

Arcfield is seeking a Systems Engineer within the PMO/Engineering Team to gather and track requirements for a fast-paced global network project. You will coordinate across forums and stakeholder groups, support SD-WAN and CSP-related designs, and help translate complex requirements into practical network solutions.

Qualifications

• Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
• Ability to create original concepts and theories for various projects.
• Ability to adapt equipment and technology to meet user needs.
• Ability to logically and systematically convert customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Ability to analyze complex system requirements through activities such as functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate Resource Authority (RA) Forums, Technical Authority (TA) Forums, Network Requirements Team (NRT) meetings, Engineer Working Group (EWG) meetings, Joint Engineering Team (JET) meetings, Technical Expert Meetings (TEMs), and other meetings and conferences.
• Support enterprise-level network efforts and define solutions for presentations to IC customers' engineering teams.
• Support software-defined network architecture and scaling for a global network.
• Demonstrate knowledge of eBGP, OSPF, communities, and route policy language on service-provider on-premises infrastructure.
• Support modeling and simulation of interagency network architectures to inform capacity planning.
• Assist with traffic engineering capabilities and resiliency of the network linking Sponsor entities to cloud resources.
• Communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Be proactive and a self-starter.
