Job summary

Google’s Network Engineering team leads the design and operation of a global production network to support millions of users. The role involves capacity augments, migrations, and introducing new technologies across regions, in collaboration with software teams to streamline automation and tooling.

The AI and Infrastructure team drives scalable, reliable systems for services powering Google Cloud, data center operations, and advanced AI platforms, with a focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• 6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting.
• Experience planning and designing networks across multiple sites/products.

Responsibilities

• Produce network plans and designs for global production network to meet SL0 and capex/opex targets.
• Coordinate with internal partners to gather drivers and deadlines for capacity delivery.
• Design high‑bandwidth delivery solutions and plan resources, including NPIs.
• Contribute to the automation roadmap to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
• Evolve processes for the design generation lifecycle and governance.
