Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Data Analysis Manager to drive analytics strategy for the Global Network Analytics team within the Global Payment Network (GPN). The role involves building models, testing data, and delivering insights across large datasets in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The position emphasizes BI components, Python/R/Spark/SQL proficiency, and collaboration across business units with limited travel. A strong leadership and problem-solving background is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, OR), plus at least 6 years of experience performing data analytics, or Master’s Degree plus at least 4 years of experience performing data analytics with start date requirement.
• At least 4 years of experience performing professional data analysis work
• At least 4 years of experience performing programming

Responsibilities

• Mining data to derive crucial information for the organization
• Identify and implement process, data, and reporting improvements
• Work with large and complex databases containing millions to billions of records
• Improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness
• Conduct analysis to evaluate processes and tests
• Extract and analyze data to gauge product offerings
• Consult on design and implementation of new production and data storage systems
• Develop and implement strategic tests of products, initiatives and marketing materials
