Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Principal Strategic Sourcing Specialist - MRO to lead global MRO sourcing strategies within a large, matrixed organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver year-over-year value, govern supplier performance, and drive cost reductions while maintaining high standards of quality and risk management.

The role requires an on-site presence at least four days per week, deep MRO category knowledge, and the ability to influence senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant sourcing or supply chain experience.
• Experience in MRO categories is preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global MRO sourcing strategies across sub-categories.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Quality, Compliance, and Operations to align sourcing with enterprise objectives.
• Lead SRM activities: governance, performance management, and contract negotiations.
• Utilize spend analytics and market intelligence to drive cost, quality, and risk improvements.
• Collaborate with Sourcing Operations to optimize catalogs and guided buying.
