Job summary

Gates Corporation, a leading manufacturer of fluid power and transmission solutions, seeks an engineering technician/test engineer to support quotations, prototyping, and manufacturing initiatives in a collaborative team environment.

The role emphasizes review of drawings, supplier coordination, inspection/testing of samples, and contribution to continuous improvement of QA and DVP processes. On-site work in Colorado is expected with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
• 2–5+ years in engineering technician or test engineer roles.
• Familiarity with lab safety and housekeeping practices.
• Experience reading CAD models and technical drawings.
• Design for manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Quotations & tracking of engineering prototypes.
• Design for Manufacturing — review drawings and coordinate with suppliers.
• Inspections and testing of engineering samples; support FAI and DVP processes.
• Provide technical support during tests and interpret results with engineers.
• Collaborate with purchasing and suppliers to issue POs and track deliveries.
