Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Global Mobility Specialist to manage end-to-end relocation and international assignment processes for our employees across multiple jurisdictions. This role ensures immigration, tax, and employment compliance while delivering a smooth, positive experience for relocating colleagues.

You will coordinate visas and permits, serve as the primary contact for assignees, partner with external counsel and relocation vendors, track timelines and renewals,

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in global mobility, immigration, HR, or relocation services.
  • Working knowledge of visa/immigration processes and compliance requirements for at least one major region (e.g., US, EU, APAC).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a service-oriented approach to supporting employees.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate relocations, visas, and immigration compliance.
  • Be primary contact for employees on international assignments and assist with relocation policy, benefits, and logistics.
  • Partner with external immigration counsel, relocation vendors, and tax advisors to manage cases end-to-end.
  • Track assignment timelines, visa expirations, and renewals to ensure compliance.
  • Administer relocation benefits (housing, shipping, schooling, tax equalization) per policy.
  • Maintain records in the mobility case management system and produce status reports.
  • Advise HR on mobility policy, cost estimates, and feasibility for international moves.
  • Stay updated on changes to immigration law, tax treaties, and social security agreements.
  • Support cost projections and budget tracking for assignments, including tax gross-up calculations.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to policy updates.
