Job summary

Bethel-Church-of-Redding in Redding, CA seeks a Missions Manager to lead and oversee the BSSM Short-Term Missions program, planning, execution, and continual improvement of mission experiences that mobilize students and leaders.

This full-time role combines leadership, operations, project management, and pastoral care, with AI-assisted administration to enhance effectiveness across 45–50 trips annually.

Qualifications

• Believes and adheres to Bethel Church’s beliefs and vision.
• High School Diploma; completion of BSSM required.
• Management background of at least 1 year.
• Strong skills in Google Workspace and general computer literacy.
• Experience using Asana for project management.
• Knowledge of international travel regulations and currencies.
• This position does not qualify for sponsorship of work authorization or an employment visa; candidates must be legally qualified to work in the U.S.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall vision, planning, and execution of the BSSM Short-Term Missions program.
• Develop annual operational goals, timelines, and department priorities.
• Oversee travel logistics including flights, visas, insurance, and accommodations.
• Oversee departmental missions budgets and fundraising progress.
• Coordinate with international ministry partners and travel agencies.
• Develop scalable systems and use AI for improved communication and efficiency.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the BSSM Missions team; onboarding and training of staff.
