Job summary

ERM seeks a Principal Consultant – Environmental Impact Assessment to lead global mining projects, expanding ERM’s EIA business across international markets. You will drive complex environmental and social impact assessments, partner with major clients, and align with international financing and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in sciences, environmental studies, planning, geography, civil/environmental engineering or equivalent.
• 6-8+ years of consulting experience with impact assessment on international projects.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships and drive growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic growth of ERM’s mining EIA practice across international markets.
• Lead client engagement, business development, and technical delivery activities.
• Provide technical leadership on complex mining and capital project assessments.
• Mentor and develop high-performing consulting teams.
• Collaborate across ERM to deliver innovative client solutions.
• Build and strengthen long-term client relationships and expand market presence.
