Job summary

Planate Management Group seeks a Mine Closure and Remediation Specialist to support the USTDA Global Critical Minerals Project Scoping Services. You will prepare closure plans, reclamation strategies and post-closure environmental management.

This is a full-time role based in Austin, TX, with opportunities to lead technical analyses, engage stakeholders and ensure compliance with international standards while contributing to proposal and delivery activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, international project experience preferred.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.
• Experience in critical minerals, mining infrastructure, Africa, Latin America, or Indo-Pacific assignments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and analysis.
• Support project scoping, assessments and reporting.
• Contribute to stakeholder consultations and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and best practices.
