Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Specialist Solutions Architects focus on messaging and event-driven architectures. You will guide customers through patterns for decoupled microservices, real-time notifications, and cloud migrations from on-premises brokers to AWS managed services.

The role emphasizes deep expertise in RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, MQTT-based patterns, and the broader messaging ecosystem. You will influence roadmaps and create technical content for the field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing or operating messaging and event-driven systems in production.
• 5+ years as a technical specialist, solutions architect, or systems engineer in customer-facing roles.
• Experience architecting distributed systems with asynchronous communication patterns.
• Familiarity with messaging services and protocols (AMQP, MQTT, STOMP, JMS).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical advisor for messaging and event-driven architecture engagements worldwide.
• Design and validate architectures using SQS, SNS, MQ and related services.
• Guide customers migrating from on-premises brokers to AWS managed messaging services.
• Develop reference architectures, patterns, and best practices for pub/sub, point-to-point, and event-driven integration.
