Takeda in Boston, MA is seeking a Global Category Manager for Meetings, Conferences, and Events to develop and execute category plans aligned with enterprise strategy. You will lead end-to-end category execution, engage stakeholders early, and manage complex sourcing and contracting to maximize value.

The role requires 8+ years in procurement or category management, strong supplier governance, and fluency in English. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Boston with global scope.

Formación

• 8+ years of procurement or category management experience in global organizations.
• Expertise across meetings management, events services, venue sourcing, and related suppliers.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions and regions.
• Experience with digital procurement tools, analytics, and AI-enabled approaches.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze spend, demand, and supplier performance to identify category priorities.
• Lead complex global and regional sourcing initiatives and contract implementations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive category plans for meetings and events.
• Manage master agreements including pricing, service levels, and performance guarantees.
• Direct demand to preferred suppliers to reduce fragmentation.
• Engage upstream to shape demand before budgets are finalized.
• Deliver targets across P&L impact and risk management.
