Responsibilities

• Responsible for the profitability and growth of the entire or part of a global business line
• Develops and implements programs and strategies to promote the organization's mission and meet financial objectives
• Identifies target customers and maintains and strengthens relationships with customers and other external authorities
• Drives compliance with internal policies and legal regulations
• Develops short- and long-term plans, policies, and guidelines
• Integrates work of the department with other departments and considers interdisciplinary and global impacts
• Solves issues in principle while leaving specifics to staff
• Balances short-term and long-term goals, and financial, resource, and people issues
• Provides advice and counsel to leadership teams based on subject matter expertise
• Sets area objectives and work plans aligned with functional strategy
• Reviews, tests, and aligns procedures, processes, and standards with the business
• Builds cross-functional and cross-regional partnerships across GLOBALFOUNDRIES
• Coaches and mentors the team
• Works and collaborates on other projects and assignments as needed
