Qualifications

• 12+ years in biopharma with leadership in Medical Affairs operations.
• Experience building or transforming Medical Affairs operating models.
• Knowledge of field medical, medical information, publications, and launch readiness.
• Proven ownership of budgets, forecasts, and vendor portfolios.
• Experience implementing Medical Affairs technologies and data solutions.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the Global Medical Affairs operating model and annual plans.
• Advise senior leadership on priorities, capacity, and investment trade-offs.
• Own the Global Medical Affairs budget, forecast, headcount, and allocations.
• Oversee grants, sponsorships, and external funding governance.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of grants and sponsorships with reporting.
• Oversee vendor/agency operating model and performance.
• Lead Medical Affairs systems, data capabilities, and analytics.
• Build Field Medical capabilities including territory planning and CRM governance.
• Provide leadership for scientific communications and publications review.
• Partner on global launch readiness and lifecycle execution.
• Establish a performance-management framework for Medical Ops.
• Develop policies, SOPs, and training; ensure compliance.
• Sponsor continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing Global Medical Operations team.
• Represent Medical Operations in enterprise planning and cross-functional forums.
