Katalyst CRO seeks a Medical Director for respiratory to lead Medical Affairs strategy across regions, aligning medical strategy, communications, and publications with the broader company plan.

The role requires MD with 6+ years in medical affairs, pulmonology expertise, and proven leadership within a matrix organization. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally, with strong cross-functional collaboration and strategic thinking driving value across Clinical, HEOR, and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

  • MD degree or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., JD, MD, DDS, or PharmD) is required.
  • Minimum 6 years of medical affairs experience.
  • Pulmonology expertise is essential.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration within a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and lead medical strategy for respiratory across geographic regions.
  • Develop MA plans aligned with launch milestones and product strategy.
  • Provide medical leadership to cross-functional partners (clinical, operations, HEOR, commercial).
  • Build external relationships across therapy areas to support the indication.
  • Develop data generation strategies and oversee publications and medical communications.
  • Lead thought leader engagement and education strategies.
  • Manage budgets for medical activities in collaboration with Strategy, Regions, and Finance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and One Medical approach across functions.
