Job summary

UCB is seeking a Global Medical Communications and Learning Lead to shape scientific communications and learning strategies for assigned assets or therapeutic areas. This hybrid role is based at our US HQ near Atlanta, GA, and partners across medical communities, publications, training and external agencies to deliver education and insights.

You will translate medical strategy into clear communications, build reusable content and establish impact metrics while collaborating with global asset

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in bioscience or a closely related scientific discipline required.
• 5+ years global medical communications, medical education or related experience.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional stakeholders, external partners and budgets.
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry or agencies creating scientific medical communications.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliant scientific practices.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strategic problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific communication strategies and integrated plans aligned with medical strategy.
• Create field medical content, learning programs and resources for education and data dissemination.
• Drive global congress strategy, attendee prep, education activities and post-congress reporting.
• Align stakeholders across global, regional and country levels with consistent content.
• Establish reusable content standards, central repositories and content management tools.
• Manage agencies, external resources, medical communications budgets and governance.
