Qualifications

• MD/PhD/PharmD with medical expertise.
• Experience in country/region medical affairs or clinical development.
• Strong prioritization and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to collaborate across divisions in a matrix environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Preferred: at least three years regional medical affairs experience.
• Customer expertise with scientific leadership, payers, public groups, and government officials.

Responsibilities

• Drives execution of the annual V&I plan with medical affairs colleagues from key countries and regions, focusing on the U.S.
• Acts as the SME and connector across therapeutic areas, translating global platforms into MVNs.
• Engages country-level stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and local data generation.
• Serves as medical representative within Product Development sub-teams to drive planning and execution.
• Communicates updates to EDMA, RSL, RDMA, US DMA, PASLs to inform and influence planning.
• Collaborates with VIOR, Policy, Commercial, and Market Access teams to address opportunities and barriers.
• Organizes global expert-input events to support development of new medicines or vaccines.
• Leads execution of GMSA plans and ensures alignment with VI plans.
• Reviews Investigator-Initiated Study proposals and supports EDSA review process.
• Manages programs to support safe utilization of medicines or vaccines.
• Manages assigned budget with 3% variance and makes informed decisions when budgets change.
