Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. seeks a Head of Global Medical Affairs to build and lead a high‑performing medical affairs organization, shaping strategy across development and commercialization of neuroscience programs, and translating science into patient impact.

You will partner with R&D and Commercial, oversee MSL and Medical Information teams, develop publication and education plans, and guide global regulatory interactions to support market access.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree required (MD, PhD or PharmD).
  • Minimum 15 years in medical affairs leadership in pharma, global experience.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performance teams.
  • Experience with launch and commercialization of specialty drugs; FDA interactions desirable.
  • Strong communication and strategic thinking under uncertainty.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead medical affairs function to support commercial launches.
  • Develop and manage Medical Science Liaison and Medical Information teams.
  • Define processes and SOPs for the medical affairs group.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Development and Commercial teams on education materials.
  • Develop publication plans, KOL engagement, and advisory boards.
  • Represent Praxis at conferences and industry discussions.
  • Assist with regulatory and payer strategy for market access.
