Johnson & Johnson seeks a Director, Global Media and Strategic Response to drive our proactive earned media strategy for Innovative Medicine. This hybrid, in-person role will be based in New Brunswick, NJ.

You will advise senior leaders, coordinate with Global Corporate Affairs, Regulatory and Legal, and craft reactive messaging, talking points and playbooks to protect the company’s reputation across global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in executive, corporate or business communications.
• Proven ability to lead strategically through ambiguity.
• Experience partnering with C-suite executives.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear messages for diverse audiences.

Responsabilités

• Develop global earned media strategy for Innovative Medicine and shield the company’s reputation.
• Lead reactive and proactive media engagements with enterprise partners and media outlets.
• Prepare leaders and SMEs for interviews; create messaging, FAQs, and briefings.
• Monitor risks and advise leadership on timing and content of responses.
• Manage a team of 2–3, budgets, vendors, and tools to scale engagement.
