Qualifications

• Educational background: A (minimum) Bachelor’s or (preferred) Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional experience: Extensive experience in large plant or process industries (required) and engineering management (preferred).
• Language skills: Proficiency in English (required) and/or German (preferred).
• Technical expertise: Skilled in MS-Project and specialized knowledge of large-scale plant projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
• Leadership: Proven team player with exceptional commitment and experience managing diverse teams across cultures.
• Global mobility: Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally and tackle global challenges (up to 98%).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects: Oversee installation and commissioning of innovative production lines and machinery.
• Optimize performance: Drive operational efficiency through system enhancements and performance testing.
• Collaborate with clients: Maintain regular communication to ensure alignment and build strong relationships.
• Track progress: Manage project timelines and milestones with detailed site reports.
• Coordinate teams: Guide both in-house and international technicians to ensure high performance and compliance.
• Solve problems: Analyze issues and work closely with engineering teams for swift resolutions.
• Manage handover: Facilitate the smooth transfer of machinery to clients, with proper documentation.
• Handle changes: Effectively manage change and claim processes with clients and suppliers.
