Job summary

Nakupuna Companies is seeking an on-site Mechanical Engineer to conduct condition assessments of DoWEA Pacific Region school campuses. You will catalog equipment and condition data and enter findings into E-SMS, supporting reports with photos and technical justifications.

Travel will be extensive, including overseas fieldwork; a PE license or EIT/FE credential and an active DoD Secret clearance are highly preferred, with ABET-accredited mechanical engineering degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• At least five years of experience assessing mechanical systems in institutional or commercial facilities.
• Ability to travel and perform fieldwork overseas.
• PE license or EIT/FE credential and active DoD Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site condition assessments of mechanical systems at DoWEA Pacific Region school campuses.
• Catalog equipment and condition data; enter findings into E-SMS.
• Support assessment reports with photographs and technical justifications.
• Verify equipment barcodes and assist with recurring and out-of-cycle task orders.
