Job summary

SIGMA-US is seeking a seasoned Global Meat Procurement professional to drive sourcing across the meat category, reporting to the Director of Meat Procurement. The role covers market analysis, supplier research, category strategy, sourcing events, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.

The incumbent will manage supplier relationships, contracts, POs, KPIs, risk management, and budget development in a hybrid work setting with 3 days in office and 2 remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Three years of contracting experience required.
• Three years of meat industry experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops category sourcing strategies and conducts market analysis.
• Lead supplier research, bid analysis, negotiations, and contracting.
• Execute robust supplier relationship management and risk controls.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost models for key suppliers.
• Communicate market information and strategy impacts to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
