• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in retail meat and poultry sourcing and procurement (commodity and value added).
• 2-3 years leading strategic sourcing professionals and strong people management skills.
• Experience with multi-million dollar spend and category strategy development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategy for meat, aligning with business objectives.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Manage supplier performance metrics and cross-functional collaboration.
• Recruit, develop and retain strategic sourcing talent within the department.
• Collaborate with Finance to plan forecasts and P&L impacts.
