Job summary

Miller Electric’s Precision Welding Solutions Division seeks an experienced Materials Manager to lead global procurement and supply chain activities, overseeing about $70 million in spend. You will mentor a high‑performing team and partner with Suppliers, Engineering, Operations, and the Sourcing Category Manager to improve competitiveness through TCO analysis.

Responsibilities include supplier risk management, strategic sourcing, S&OP, NPD involvement, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Ops Management, Supply Chain Management, Business or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in leading a team of direct reports and track record of people development.
• Strong Microsoft Office and ERP-system skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier and supply chain initiatives to ensure continuity and optimize costs, quality, and service.
• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies aligned with division and enterprise objectives.
• Manage inventory control, lead key KPIs, and ensure SOPs and ISO documentation are up to date.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for a high-performing Materials & Supply Chain team.
