Job summary

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC is seeking a Materials Manager for its Precision Welding Solutions Division to lead global procurement and supply chain activities, overseeing about $70M in spend and guiding strategic sourcing to keep new product development competitive.

You will mentor a high-performing team, collaborate with Suppliers, Engineering, Operations, and Sourcing Category Manager, and drive KPI improvements like MOH, PPV, and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Ops/SCM or business; 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong MS Office and ERP-system skills required.
• Experience driving procurement and supply chain strategy in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and supply chain activities, managing approximately $70 million in spend.
• Develop category strategies and drive savings while ensuring quality and service.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing Materials & Supply Chain team.
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance reviews.
• Own S&OP, NPD involvement, and insource/outsource decisions.
