Job summary

Sonova Group is seeking an experienced Material Group Manager to shape global sourcing for advanced medical device materials. You will drive cost optimization, supplier performance, and innovation while aligning external markets with internal needs across cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in procurement or supply chain, with strong negotiation, forecasting, and ERP/SAP experience. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years procurement or supply chain experience.
• Experience developing and executing strategic sourcing or commodity strategies.
• Strong understanding of procurement, supplier markets, forecasting, contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global sourcing and commodity strategies.
• Conduct market analyses to identify sourcing opportunities and risks.
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers.
• Lead commercial negotiations and long-term supplier agreements.
• Partner with Engineering, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing to support new products.
• Drive cost and value optimization through benchmarking and TCO strategies.
• Manage project sourcing from concept through production including RFQs.
