Job summary

IDT is seeking a senior Materials Planning leader to develop and execute inventory strategies across global operations. You will own inventory policy, stocking strategies, planning parameters, and governance for $56M+ inventory across eight sites, driving working capital improvements and mitigating obsolete risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in materials planning, supply planning, inventory management, or operations.
• Management experience leading materials planning, supply chain, or related teams.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• MBA and/or CPIM certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled planning capabilities or advanced analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute inventory strategies across global operations.
• Lead global materials planning strategy.
• Own inventory policy, stocking strategies, planning parameters, and governance for $56M+ in inventory across eight sites.
• Drive working capital improvement and mitigate excess/obsolete inventory risk.
• Improve On-Time Delivery performance through material supply and policy improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop materials planning professionals.
• Serve as business lead for inventory and planning programs (IMAG, PFEP, AI-enabled planning).
• Partner with manufacturing, operations, finance, procurement, and supply chain teams.
