Job summary

OPW - A Dover Company in Allentown, PA seeks a Support 2 to plan and manage material movement from receiving to production. The role develops raw material requirements from engineering specs and production schedules and coordinates with purchasing and warehouse.

The position may use MRP systems, negotiate lead times with suppliers, and maintain inventory control of equipment parts. Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics.

• Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
• Works under moderate supervision and follows standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and manages material movement from receiving or warehouse to production.
• Develops raw material requirements and scheduling from engineering specs and production schedules; coordinates with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
• May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and negotiate lead times with suppliers.
• May be responsible for maintaining inventory control of equipment parts.
