Job summary

OPW, a Dover company, seeks a Production Planning and Supply Chain Manager to lead production planning, buying, and materials management. You will build team capability, drive cross‑functional initiatives, and implement systems to boost productivity and service levels.

The role focuses on stabilizing operations, strengthening supplier partnerships, and aligning supply chain with business objectives. You will guide and develop a team of planners and buyers, champion data-driven improvements, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or related field; 7+ years of manufacturing supply chain experience.
Lean manufacturing knowledge and implementation experience.
Strong working knowledge of MRP and planning systems; Oracle ERP experience is a plus.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite; ability to drive cross‑functional improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead production planning and buying teams; coach and manage performance.
Drive continuous improvement in procurement and planning processes.
Stabilize and improve underperforming supply chain organizations; manage supplier performance.
Develop and report KPIs; collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Sales and Finance.
Partner with suppliers on terms, contracts, and compliance; conduct root-cause analyses.
