Job summary

Citizens Bank is offering a 2027 Commercial Summer Internship in Global Markets in Boston, MA. This 10-week program provides exposure to commercial banking through project assignments, a structured learning curriculum, networking, volunteer opportunities and formal mentorship.

Interns may receive early consideration for full-time opportunities within their line of business. Summer Analysts will work with Traders, Sales & Analysts, supporting desk coverage and creating pitch books while learning

Qualifications

• Video interview assessment within 4 days of receiving the link
• Undergraduate students graduating Winter 2027 – Spring 2028 or graduate students graduating Winter 2027 – Spring 2028
• Minimum GPA of 3.2; Preferred 3.5
• U.S. resident eligible; no immigration sponsorship for internship positions
• Finance, Accounting or Economics coursework preferred; all majors considered

Responsibilities

• Work with Traders, Salespeople, and Analysts
• Support desk coverage for the Sales team
• Create pitch books and presentations for Sales Marketers/Team Leader
• Help articulate market conditions to clients
• Assist in developing Global Markets prospect lists and provide recommendations
• Develop competencies in financial analysis, risk evaluation, macro programming, option pricing, and related quantitative measures
• Prepare weekly distributions and market updates; maintain deal-tracking sheets, Salesforce, and pipeline activity
