Citizens Bank invites applications for the 2027 Commercial Summer Intern—Global Markets in Boston, MA. The 10-week program offers exposure to the commercial banking space through project-based assignments, learning curricula, networking, and mentorship.

High-performing interns may receive early consideration for full-time opportunities within Global Markets. Interns will work with Traders, Salespeople, and Analysts; assist desk coverage and Sales support; and prepare pitch books and market

Qualifications

• Video interview assessment required within 4 days of link receipt.
• Undergraduate degree in progress or graduate program, graduating Winter 2027 – Spring 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2; preferred 3.5.
• Relevant work experience or coursework in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Traders, Salespeople, and Analysts.
• Support desk coverage for the Sales team.
• Create pitch books and presentations for Sales Marketers/Team Leader.
• Develop ability to articulate market conditions to clients.
• Help manage development of Global Markets prospect lists through analysis and recommendations.
• Develop- and deliver weekly market updates, memos, and pipeline reports.
