Bank of China USA in New York seeks an analytical Risk Control Analyst to monitor, control and report risks in the Branch’s Global Markets and Treasury business. You will analyze market information and price movements, and suggest risk-mitigating actions.

The role covers risk monitoring, reporting, and collaboration with other departments, with emphasis on data, policy review and timely analysis for management and Head Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or banking/investment majors required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial market business
• Solid understanding of financial market products and risk management
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and other platforms preferred
• Knowledge of front-to-back operations and instruments (FX, money market, FI, IRS, Repo) preferred
• SQL, VBA, Python proficiency a plus
• CFA or FRM preferred but not required
• Bilingual English and Chinese highly preferred

Responsabilités

• Monitor and control risks in global markets and treasury business
• Coordinate with departments to manage market and treasury risk
• Investigate violations and ensure breaches are reported and documented
• Perform market research, analyze price movements and propose risk mitigations
• Prepare risk analysis reports and management updates
• Support data, user and function controls for risk systems
• Assist in new business/product development within global markets and treasury
