Overview

This Associate job is to provide support to the product team in assisting to achieve team goals. This incumbent is subject to KPI evaluation.

Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:

Marketing and Sales

• Prepare marketing materials
• Generate thematic written business research
• Interpret high-frequency economic data in the U.S. and China
• Assist in identifying hedging opportunities in FX derivatives and other products
• Follow up on all business needs with RMs to better support their clients
• Provide support to the team in daily routine work
• Act as backup for the designated team

Product Management

• Participate in the enhancement of product offerings to promote business growth
• Assist in the new product development to satisfy clients' hedging demands

Risk Management and Compliance

• Adhere to and facilitate legal documents and onboarding processes related to traded products
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding anti-money laundering, BSA, OFAC, Dodd-Frank framework, Volcker rule, etc.
• Collaborate with Middle Office and Back Office to ensure risk control and facilitate accurate deal booking and timely settlement

Research

• Perform analysis and participate in assigned research projects
• Monitor, update, and facilitate research information for client/internal presentations
• Participate in special projects and/or other duties as assigned
• Conduct assigned reports or research analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum 1-3 years of Financial Markets experience
• Knowledge in FX, RMB, interest rates, and other hedging products
• Bilingual ability in Mandarin is preferred, but not required

Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with the candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education, and other qualifications.
