Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Law or related discipline with coursework in Finance or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience supporting global markets, including derivatives agreements, ISDA documentation, or fixed-income regulatory matters.
• Strong understanding of capital markets products, associated risks, and applicable prudential regulatory requirements.
• Experience reviewing complex contracts, conducting legal research, and analyzing regulatory issues.
• Ability to interpret financial regulations and translate requirements into practical business solutions.
• Strong communication, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate trading and collateral agreements including ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, and repurchase agreements.
• Maintain standardized legal documentation and update templates as needs evolve.
• Coordinate with internal legal teams, external counsel, and international stakeholders on contractual matters.
• Advise business teams on agreement terms, documentation requirements, and legal considerations.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting derivatives, fixed income, and other capital markets activities.
• Develop and assess compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare regulatory updates, legal analyses, and risk reports for senior management.
• Support regulatory inquiries and cross-functional projects.
