Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One.## **Job Description**Embedded within the Fund Custody team, serves as the primary client-facing subject-matter expert for complex global markets, cross-border custody matters, and significant market events. Acts as the bridge between technical market expertise and the client relationship by translating market, regulatory, legal, tax, and operational developments into clear client impacts, options, recommended actions, and expectations. Provides timely insight and practical guidance regarding market entry, account opening, registration, documentation, settlement practices, tax considerations, regulatory requirements, local market conventions, sanctions, sub-custodian matters, and market disruptions. Proactively leads market-event communications and coordinates across clients, relationship teams, onboarding, operations, product, network management, risk, legal, compliance, tax, and sub-custodian partners to evaluate requirements, resolve complex issues, and support successful market activation. Serves as a senior escalation point for cross-border servicing issues and recurring operational challenges, identifies systemic themes across clients, and drives remediation with the appropriate product or operations owner. Participates in client reviews, prospect discussions, onboarding, conversions, and major market-change initiatives. Recommends solutions consistent with governing agreements, applicable laws and regulations, and U.S. Bank policies and procedures.**Basic Qualifications** - Associate’s degree, or equivalent work experience - Typically eight to 10 years of job-related experience, preferably in institutional trust and/or financial industry**Preferred Skills/Experience**- Advanced knowledge of global custody, foreign market account opening, market registration, settlement practices, tax documentation, global tax reclamation, and cross-border servicing requirements - Strong ability to interpret complex market, regulatory, legal, and operational requirements and convert them into concise, client-ready guidance - Experience coordinating documentation and implementation activities among clients, custodians, sub-custodians, operations, network management, risk, legal, and compliance partners - Ability to assess market readiness, identify risks and dependencies, and recommend practical solutions with minimal guidance - Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to monitor market developments and evaluate client and operational impacts - Excellent interpersonal, consultative, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex market initiatives, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations - Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients and serve as an escalation point for complex cross-border questions - Experience developing market guides, client communications, procedures, training materials, or other knowledge resources - Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing skills**Location Expectations** The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.**Benefits:**Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members’ whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
