Merck Gruppe - MSD Sharp & Dohme seeks a Director, Global Market Access to lead the global access strategy for a newly acquired antiviral asset with potential first-in-class and long-acting properties. The role focuses on payer value, evidence planning, and stakeholder engagement to enable broad, sustainable access.

The position requires developing payer materials, coordinating with regional teams, and guiding economic models and budget impact analyses across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical market access, pricing/reimbursement, marketing or health economics.
• Global strategic mindset with strong understanding of access and reimbursement.

Responsabilités

• Develop global payer value proposition and access strategy.
• Generate data-driven insights on policy developments, HTA/NITAG insights, and payer trends.
• Drive alignment between access and clinical, commercial, and evidence plans.
• Manage access performance reviews, forecasts, and risk/opportunity assessments.
• Lead development of payer value decks, access tools, and training for global and regional teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional partnerships to guide development of economic models and budget impact analyses.
• Support capability-building across regions with strategic guidance and issue escalation on complex access challenges.
