Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a Senior Director, Market Access to own global market access strategy for the gene therapy portfolio. The role coordinates across LV&A, IVA, and local markets to drive pricing, contracting, and payer engagement.

The position leads the development of a unified value proposition, supports HTA submissions, and shapes policy in collaboration with Lilly government affairs. Travel 10–20% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years of progressive market access, pricing, or payer strategy experience in biopharma, including global or multi-country pricing and access ownership.
• Working knowledge of payer, HTA, and reimbursement systems in major international markets (US, China, France, Germany, Japan, UK).
• Experience building a pricing, access, or contracting framework from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Build a global pricing and access framework for all assets.
• Align asset positioning with LV&A and IVA across markets.
• Define local flexibility while maintaining cross-asset consistency.
• Develop standardized durability-linked and outcomes-based contracts.
• Own strategic narrative for HTA submissions and payer engagement.
• Represent LRM in external forums influencing policy.
