Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is seeking a strategic Product Director for Marine Systems within Nikkiso Applied Technologies. Qualifications

• Knowledge of industry best practices and standards of excellence.
• Extensive experience with relevant product lines.
• Specific industry experience and knowledge in Cryogenics, LNG, Industrial Gas, Hydrogen, Clean Energy.
• Exceptional problem solving, negotiating, time management, and general management skills.
• Financial skills and familiarity with revenue, bookings, gross margin, EBIT, budgeting.
• Ability to motivate a result-driven team.
• Ability to work across departments to reach meaningful results.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or Business with relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Life Cycle Management: manage each product's journey from idea to retirement.
• Product Strategy & Roadmap: develop and execute a multi-year roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Market Research & Value Proposition: analyze market trends and define compelling value propositions.
• Continuous Product Improvement: improve manufacturing processes and features while leveraging cost-effective techniques.
• Identifying Customer Needs: close interaction with customers and sales to define requirements.
• Understanding Market Trends: proactive pursuit of opportunities for existing or new products.
• Understanding Competitor Landscape: insights into competitors and differentiators.
• New Product Development and Innovation: identify opportunities, build business cases, and lead VOC research.
• Working with Cross Functional Department and Teams: align configurations with market needs and coordinate marketing efforts.
• Inorganic Developments / Growth Opportunities: identify quarterly inorganic opportunities (acquisitions, JVs, etc.).
• Sales Support & Customer Engagement: act as product expert, support global sales, deliver training, and gather customer feedback.
