The Senior Manager, Global Social Media & Platforms will focus on helping the organization build the best practices, skills and capabilities necessary to excel in creating and implementing social media strategies.

  • You are a collaborator - In this role, as an integral member of an experienced and dynamic team, you will work with various internal teams including: IMC, digital, media, corporate communication as well as legal to drive social strategy.
  • You are an innovator - You will help modernize our social media presence and play a key role in helping the Divisions and Hubs drive social media strategy and engagement.
  • You are curious - You are a curious trendsetter, always keeping a finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends and strategies.

What you'll do

  • Drive social marketing strategy & capability development
    • Manage development, implementation, & facilitation for social media and social platform marketing initiatives - including audits, strategic approach, partnerships, influencer strategies, and training initiatives
    • Ensure seamless integration of Social into Journeys & BEP, revisiting as needed to maintain relevancy of templates & frameworks
    • Lead and manage the development and distribution of thought leadership and guideline assets - with a focus on social influence & advocacy, social engagement and social listening
      • Developing & evolving CP Social Media & Advocacy Frameworks
      • Partner with agency resources to hold working sessions to train, embed, and set-up frameworks to enable Social Platform best practices
      • Leverage global CP network to gather, curate and highlight international cases and best practices
    • Lead assessments of potential new capability driving partnerships, strategies, best practices and/or tools
    • Monitor & lead optimizations frameworks on spending and measurement of Social Media, across Paid, Owned, and Earned
      • Partner with relevant resources / teams to create value equation for Social Media
    • Create & Maintain Global Social Scorecard to track and report on progress pertaining to key social initiatives, spend, and usage
  • Develop and manage global partnerships with social vendors, business partners and third-party service providers
    • Promote and measure utilization and engagement of partnerships
    • Manage annual partnership evaluation process by reviewing global usage/ROI/overall value
    • Manage agendas and participation for T2Ts for FB, IG, & TT
    • Participate in relevant industry events and report back learning
  • Global digital marketing lead on researching, vetting and evaluating Social tech & solutions for business critical workstreams
    • Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders to manage the global Colgate-Palmolive company’s brand online across owned media channels (CP.com, social networks)
    • Oversee approval and inventory of Social owned/managed domains (registration, acquisition renewal and reporting)

Required qualifications

  • 8+ years of Experience in Digital (preferably in Social Media) analytics
  • Strong ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage and empower teams
  • Self-starter, capable of working in a fast-paced corporate environment without full guidance
  • Solid communication skills, capable of raising consensus at all levels: peers, executives, team members
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team

Salary Range $112,000 - $164,850 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
