TSMC Arizona is hiring a Logistics Specialist to support daily shipping, receiving, and compliance in a leading semiconductor fab in Phoenix. You will track shipments, prepare documentation, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure on-time delivery.

This entry-level role offers growth in global logistics and supply chain operations, with training on our systems, and opportunities to contribute to performance dashboards and process improvements.

Formación

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with Logistics Inventory Systems or equivalent enterprise software.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, analyze data quickly and resolve issues.
  • Organization: Highly organized with ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proactive, self-motivated and adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsabilidades

  • Shipment Tracking & Coordination: Monitor daily inbound/outbound shipments and update tracking systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate shipping activities with internal engineering, procurement, and logistics teams.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and verify customs and transportation documents for auditing.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain data exchanges with freight forwarders and carriers.
  • Issue Resolution: Address transit delays and cargo exceptions with data-driven solutions.
  • Financial Support: Process logistics invoices and payments in financial systems.
  • Data & KPI Analysis: Update KPI dashboards for carrier and vendor efficiency.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain digital and physical shipping records.
  • Inventory Control: Reconcile warehouse stock with digital records.
  • Warehouse Liaison: Ensure shipments are packed, labeled, and dispatched on schedule.
  • Systems & Tools: Assist testing and implementation of new logistics tools.

Position Summary

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support our daily shipping and receiving operations. In this entry-level role, you will track shipments, prepare essential documentation, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure goods arrive on time and in compliance with trade regulations. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated professional eager to learn and grow within global logistics and semiconductor supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipment Tracking & Coordination: Monitor daily inbound/outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery; update real-time tracking systems and databases.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate daily shipping activities, communicating effectively across internal engineering, procurement, and logistics teams.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare, verify, and organize physical and digital customs and transportation documents for compliance auditing.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain daily data exchanges with freight forwarders and carriers to assist in preparing weekly performance reviews.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve transit delays and cargo exceptions by gathering shipping data and implementing prompt solutions.
  • Financial Support: Process and validate basic logistics invoices, billing data, and payment transactions within financial systems.
  • Data & KPI Analysis: Gather logistics performance data and update KPI dashboards to track carrier and vendor efficiency.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain structured digital databases and physical filing systems for shipping records and customs entries.
  • Inventory Control: Support inventory tracking workflows, reconciling physical warehouse stock with digital system records.
  • Warehouse Liaison: Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure shipments are systematically packed, labeled, and dispatched on schedule.
  • Systems & Tools: Assist with testing and implementing new digital logistics tools and software to improve operational workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with Logistics Inventory Systems or equivalent enterprise software.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to think critically, analyze data quickly/accurately, and resolve issues effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organization: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workloads, manage concurrent tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities; able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications (Pluses)
  • Experience with data flow automation, machine learning, or AI-driven supply chain projects.
  • Understanding of the semiconductor equipment and materials supply chain.
  • High learning agility with a proven ability to translate innovative technical ideas into practice.
Work Requirements
  • Location: Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix, Arizona facility.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform standard office tasks, including extended periods of sitting, walking, and light lifting/bending as required in a warehouse or office setting.
  • Travel (Optional): Ability to travel to Taiwan for training for up to [insert number, e.g., 3-6] months (if applicable).
