Job summary

Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, based in Lexington, MA, is seeking a Specialist, Logistics and Customs Compliance to support global shipments across clinical, commercial, and research supply chains. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
• 1–3 years international logistics and/or customs compliance experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
• Experience shipping temperature-controlled products (e.g., 2–8°C, dry ice).
• Familiarity with HTS/HS classification, incoterms, IATA, FDA/CBP processes; GDP/GMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute/oversee domestic and international shipments of temperature-controlled GMP materials.
• Collaborate with manufacturers, transport providers, brokers, and warehouses for on-time delivery.
• Prepare shipping documents: invoices, packing lists, Shaer’s Letters of Instruction, declarations.
• Classify commodities using HTS/HS codes; maintain master data.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, CBP, TSA, USDA/APHIS, IATA, EU/UK rules.
• Track shipments, resolve in-transit issues, obtain proof of delivery.
