Samsung SDS America, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to manage international import/export shipments and domestic transportation, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of freight.

You will be the primary contact for customers and partners, handling shipment execution, documentation, and proactive communication. The role requires strong knowledge of international logistics, customs compliance, and carrier operations, collaborating with customers, carriers,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, import operations, or transportation coordination.
Knowledge of ocean import, air import, customs clearance processes, and international shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate international import shipments via ocean, air, and ground transportation.
Monitor shipment status from origin through final delivery and resolve issues.
Prepare, review, and coordinate shipping documentation for import, customs clearance, and requirements.
Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
Obtain and prepare competitive freight quotations from carriers and 3PL providers.
Coordinate bookings and scheduling with carriers and logistics partners.
