Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Global Logistics Co-op for a 6-month program in Boston, January–July 2027. The paid full-time role targets students in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related fields.

You will work on strategic initiatives, performance analytics, and global logistics improvements, with exposure to ERP/TMS/WMS systems and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic projects to improve Global Logistics effectiveness, scalability, service, cost, and capabilities.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain Global Logistics strategic roadmap, project plans, and business cases.
• Prepare for supplier reviews and internal governance meetings.
• Gain exposure to transportation and warehousing operations within a regulated global supply chain.
