Job summary

BD in Durham seeks a Logistics Analyst to optimize domestic and international logistics performance across transport modes. You will build reports, KPIs, and cost analyses to improve service, transit time, and overall efficiency while aligning with our global logistics strategy.

You’ll collaborate with Procurement, Implementation, and other teams, manage freight rate data, support provider evaluations, and help with duties/tariffs classification to minimize costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or related field with 2–4 years of global trade or international logistics experience; or 5–7 years if no degree.
• Minimum 2 years of data analysis and reporting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with data-driven opportunities.
• Advanced Excel features and pivot tables; VLOOKUP, IF/THEN, SUMIF, tables.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain reports, KPIs, and scorecards to measure logistics performance.
• Evaluate provider performance, costs, and appropriate provider mix.
• Conduct periodic reviews with providers and report results and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain freight rate databases and perform rate, cost, and invoice analysis.
• Collaborate with providers to resolve service, cost, and claims issues.
• Classify components/products to minimize duties and tariffs impact.
• Document logistics procedures for reporting and communication.
• Identify and implement logistics process improvements with process owners.
