Ideal candidates are U.S.-bar-licensed attorneys with 3+ years in big firms or in-house, comfortable with AI-enabled workflows and up to 20% travel. Remote work is possible with proximity to Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a licensed U.S. attorney in law firms or in-house (life sciences preferred).
• Excellent academic credentials and active U.S. Bar membership.
• Experience negotiating complex transactions and leading teams.
• Able to travel up to 20% globally and adapt to AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate global commercial agreements (sales, procurement, licensing, SaaS).
• Provide pragmatic legal counsel on compliance, data privacy, and business objectives.
• Improve contract processes, templates, and cross-functional policies.
• Support M&A and cross-functional initiatives with IP, regulatory, and privacy teams.
• Partner with Becken Coulter Life Sciences and Danaher legal network on initiatives.
