Job summary

Legal.io is seeking an experienced Legal Operations Project Manager to support a global legal team across spend management, AFAs, and RFP programs. The role blends in-house and law firm exposure with strong pricing and negotiation skills.

You will drive RFP workflows, vendor interviews, and cross-functional tools deployment while guiding training on AFAs and pricing. A fast-paced environment requires multitasking and leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in legal operations, project/program management, or legal pricing.
• Experience in both in-house and law firm environments.
• Strong knowledge of legal pricing and AFAs negotiation.
• Experience with outside counsel management and benchmarking law firm hourly rates.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support global legal spend management and outside counsel initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for AFAs on high-spend matters.
• Negotiate pricing, hourly rate benchmarking, and fee negotiations.
• Lead RFP processes from templates to submissions and vendor interviews.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement RFP workflows and tools.
• Assist with training on AFAs and legal pricing.
• Draft process docs, playbooks, and operational resources.
• Support rollout of outside counsel agreement programs.
• Identify and implement improvements across legal operations workflows.
