Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking a skilled accountant in the Charlotte, NC area to support US GAAP and IFRS reporting and month-end close. You will handle GL tasks, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with tax and audit teams in a dynamic environment.

The role requires 3–7 years of experience, CPA preferred, and strong Excel/analytic skills. A hybrid work schedule is available, with some in-office responsibilities at SMBC AD.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS reporting.
• Experience with general ledger and month-end close processes.
• CPA preferred; 3–7 years of specialized experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and posting of USGAAP month end/daily journals.
• Assist with daily reporting for assets and liabilities; regulatory reporting.
• Prepare internal and external financial/regulatory reports and documents.
