Job summary

dormakaba is seeking a Global Lead - Value Analysis Value Engineering (VAVE) to be based onsite at our Indianapolis, IN facility. You will establish standardized VAVE practices, drive cost reduction, and coordinate cross-functional teams globally to deliver value.

The role demands leadership, process improvement expertise, and collaboration across Procurement, Engineering, and Operations. The position offers a base salary of $160,000-$185,000 with a generous short-term incentive bonus and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering and operations experience with process development and continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of cross-functional engineering processes and interfaces with Procurement, Product Development, and Operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional VAVE initiatives by coordinating matrixed Program Management and Engineering resources to achieve cost reduction and value improvement objectives.
• Develop and manage contractor and supplier relationships that support enterprise and product-line VAVE initiatives.
• Create and implement scalable VAVE processes, methodologies, and tools from opportunity identification through production launch.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, financial savings targets, and reporting processes to ensure progress toward annual business goals.
• Partner with Procurement, Operations, Quality, Product Development, Product Management, Master Data Management, and other functions to identify and execute VAVE opportunities.
• Provide regular executive-level reporting on initiative status, realized savings, pipeline opportunities, risks, and support needed to achieve objectives.
