Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in analytical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical sector.
• 2+ years of experience in people management and analytical laboratory operations.
• Experience leading analytical efforts in pharmaceutical product discovery and/or development.
• Experience with technical transfer of analytical methods from discovery to development.
• Experience in oligonucleotide analysis and related conjugates.
• Proficient in biophysical and analytical characterization techniques such as MS, chromatography, and light scattering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for Lilly Genetic Medicine analytical activities across the organization.
• Partner with Early Phase Development and drug discovery teams to deliver analytical data packages.
• Mentor and develop the scientific team and promote knowledge sharing.
• Plan and manage short-term and long-term analytical investments and timelines.
• Demonstrate learning agility across oligonucleotide modalities and related conjugates.
• Manage collaborations with external and internal analytical vendors.
