Job summary

Biogen seeks a Director of Global Launch Excellence to oversee the SMA portfolio's full global launch process. You will lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams, shaping launch plans, timelines, budgets, and risks, while integrating IDU and Thecaflex programs to accelerate decisions and remove roadblocks.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, advanced analytics, and digital innovation to drive execution and organizational capability. International travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, life sciences, or related field.
• 10+ years in pharma/biotech with at least 3 years in launch readiness or equivalent.
• Strong commercial experience at regional or global levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop impactful launch plans for the SMA portfolio.
• Drive strategic and operational rigor in managing integrated launch plans, including timelines, budgets, and risks.
• Serve as an integrator for IDU and Thecaflex programs, facilitating decision-making and removing barriers for launch priorities.
• Build and maintain tools to plan and track launch progress, enhancing team collaboration.
• Coordinate development of presentations to facilitate strategic planning and decision-making.
• Define and execute a global engagement strategy across healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers.
• Provide regular launch progress updates to leadership and governance committees.
• Enhance organizational capabilities through new methods and tools to maximize launch excellence.
