Job summary

PsychoGenics seeks a Lab Operations Technician to coordinate shipment, receipt, tracking, and documentation of biological samples, study materials, and live animals. You will support domestic and international shipments while complying with regulatory and client requirements.

In this role you will work with Study Directors, Project Managers, Vivarium Operations, Laboratory Operations, clients, vendors, couriers, and regulatory agencies to ensure accuracy, on-time delivery, and proper

Qualifications

• Requires associate/bachelor degree in biology, life sciences, operations management, supply chain or related field.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments.
• Experience with laboratory operations, sample management, animal research, or supply chain logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments of biological samples, tissues, compounds, and lab supplies.
• Prepare and maintain shipment documentation: chain of custody, commercial invoices, customs, health certificates, permits.
• Schedule courier pickups and track shipments, communicating with internal/external stakeholders.
